There's a particular kind of light that settles over the Sussex countryside in September, the fields turning gold, the last of the season's produce ready to be gathered in before the nights draw in. It's what's known as the Harvest Moon, a tradition that once brought entire villages together, and this month, we're bringing a taste of it to Wimbledon.
Our Harvest Moon menu is built entirely around Sussex, its farms, its growers, and the county we've always called home. A little taste of what's on offer: Sussex Cow Curd Stracciatella with comice pear and lovage, our own Sussex Regenerative Beef with girolles and peppercorn butter, and a Sussex stone fruit melba to finish, a lovely excuse to gather friends or family around the table this autumn.
